Lyle is here to make you smile. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you spot a Lyle, do please give him a nod on Instagram with #lylesighting
Lyle was created by South African/Californian artist Ralph Lazar in 2016.
By 2018 Lyle had become the unofficial mascot of mountain-biking in Marin County (home of the sport, and home of Ralph). They are often seen in the hills and trails of NorCal.
While he has now been spotted in over 20 countries, Lyle remains true to his optimistic roots, firmly embedded in the soil of California’s positive, healthy outdoor lifestyle.
